About Sharon
Sharon grew up around the arts in Marin County — her father a successful trumpet player/bandleader, her mother in theatre. Following in their artistic footsteps, her recent adaptions of the third and fourth NY Times best-selling YA novels from the highly successful AFTER franchise – AFTER WE FELL and AFTER EVER HAPPY both were #1 on Netflix globally after making $20M respectively from a one week theater run. Setting up another best-selling book franchise, MARKED MEN with Voltage, the first movie MARKED MEN #1 out in September 2024 starring Chase Stokes (Outerbanks), Alexander Ludwig (Vikings/Bad boys), Ella Balinska (Charlie’s Angels). The second MARKED MEN script to go into production in 2025. Sharon’s inspirational true story ROO! (Netflix/Resonate Entertainment) is heading into production directed by Anthony Fabian (Mrs Harris Goes To Paris/Skin). Her feature rom com MEET ME AT BLOOMIES is heading to production in late 2024 with Happy Accidents. Sharon has several other feature projects in active development as well as TV, including her female-led drama series HOT she’s co-creating with Hayley Schore (Co-creator The Resident/Call Jane); and the series SAVED with Kerry David (Breaking Their Silence), set in the world of wildlife trafficking with Sharon Leal (Pretty Little Liars) and Henry Ian Cusick (Lost/Scandal) attached to star. She has written for Amazon, Netflix, Participant Media, eOne, Disney, Fox, Voltage and Freeform among others. Sharon is a past member of famed Groundlings and Second City, and is an active member of the Women’s Writer’s Guild Committee. Sharon is repped by Josh Kesselman at Sugar 23 Management.
About Andy
Andy Soboil has a longstanding successful background in the foodservice industry. After five successful years, he sold his much-touted all-organic fast food operation O!burger, the first in the country. Andy had been employed as a personal chef to many celebrities, i.e. Johnny Carson and the Cage family as well as high profile corporate executives, in their homes and on their private yachts. He has been working as a luxury yacht chef since 1991, privately and on charters. Other credits include working with Saveur Magazine, as the host of a cooking show that he created and which was filmed as a television pilot in Spain. He holds a Diploma In Hotel Management from The Hotel School of South Africa, and took many courses at The Natural Gourmet Cooking School in New York, which specializes in health food preparation. Andy comes from a family of restaurateurs who owned a number of hotels and restaurants in South Africa. He has traveled and worked around the world fine honing his cooking skills and is also fluent in Portuguese, Flemish, English and Spanish.
