
About Sharon

Sharon Soboil grew up around the arts in Marin County — her father a successful trumpet player/ bandleader, her mother in theatre. Following in their artistic footsteps, she became a writer. Her film adaptations of the third and fourth novels in the New York Times best-selling YA franchise AFTER — AFTER WE FELL and AFTER EVER HAPPY — crossed $20M theatrically and became worldwide #1 hits on Netflix. She also adapted the first two MARKED MEN novels — another New York Times best-selling franchise — launching with RULE & SHAW. Directed by Nick Cassavetes, the film opened at #1 in France and Latin America, charted in the iTunes Top 10 in the U.S. and Australia, and is now streaming on Hulu. Her Hallmark TV movie LOVE ON THE AIR was the #1 cable movie of its week and remains a fan favorite. She executive produced the YA movie SEE YOU ON VENUS now on Netflix. She has several other film and TV projects in active development with top talent on board, including her drama series HOT -- the extraordinary story of the fearless women who built Palm Springs into the Shangri-La it is today, one of which is her great-grandmother, Harriet Cody. Sharon has sold to or written for networks, studios, and streamers including -- Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Hulu, Fox, Freeform, Nickelodeon, Participant Media, eOne, Voltage, and Girls' Club Entertainment. Her work extends beyond the screen as well. She co-wrote the well-received memoir GOLD STANDARD with True Religion Jeans co-founder Kym Gold (Skyhorse Publishing), and her one-act plays include GO SCOTLAND, performed by Alison Wright, and THE APOLOGY, published by Next Stage Press. A member of the WGA and the Television Academy, she came up performing alongside members of the famed Groundlings and Second City. Sharon also gives back to the writing community: she sits on the board of the nonprofit THE WOMEN'S LIST, and serves each year as a panelist for the UCLA Feature Film Writing Conservancy. Sharon is repped by Josh Kesselman at MGMT Entertainment and Taj McCoy at Laura Dail Literary Agency.
About Andy
Andy Soboil has a longstanding successful background in the food service industry. After five successful years, he sold his much-touted all-organic fast food operation O!burger, the first in the country. Andy had been employed as a personal chef to many celebrities, i.e. Johnny Carson and the Cage family as well as high profile corporate executives, in their homes and on their private yachts. He has been working as a luxury yacht chef since 1991, privately and on charters. Other credits include working with Saveur Magazine, as the host of a cooking show that he created and which was filmed as a television pilot in Spain. He holds a Diploma In Hotel Management from The Hotel School of South Africa, and took many courses at The Natural Gourmet Cooking School in New York, which specializes in health food preparation. Andy comes from a family of restaurateurs who owned a number of hotels and restaurants in South Africa. He has traveled and worked around the world fine honing his cooking skills and is also fluent in Portuguese, Flemish, English and Spanish.
